FAQ

What's the difference between a Bookkeeper and an Accountant?

In general, a bookkeeper records transactions, manages bank & credit card accounts, sends invoices, makes payments, and prepares financial statements.

Other Bookkeeping tasks may include: Running payroll, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing strategic advice.

*Typically Bookkeepers focus on the data entry and day to day operations. While Accountants often focus on the bigger picture and higher level financial activities such as tax planning, auditing & tax preparation.

At G.CO we provide the best of both. We handle bookkeeping throughout the year provide quarterly tax estimates and tax preparation. This way, we ensure continuity with every step, from daily activities to future goals.
